    We LOVE this pizza. It's our favorite in all of Rhode Island AND CT (where they really do well with pizza) - sorry CT, Rocco's beats out Sally's, Modern, and Pepes!

    Honestly, their pizza is a craft. It is beyond good. Dough is perfect, toppings fresh, quick pick up service. We WISH they were closer we relocated a time or two and still will take the drive now for their pizza.

    If you are looking for a new pizza joint, check them out. Certainly the best of the island!

    We're on a mission to find the best New York-style pizza in Rhode Island. Rocco's is fine, nothing at all 'wrong' with it, but also nothing to dream about.

    The pizza is OK. It's your basic pizza, dough, sauce, cheese, not bad at all. But compared to New York style, the crust is a little doughy, not quite firm enough. If it was baked at a little higher temperature and was just a little crispier around the edges, it would probably be 4 stars. If you're in the area and need a pizza fix, you won't leave disappointed.

    Pro tip: the garlic knots are delicious, and 5 stars in themselves. They bring a little basket of them as your 'bread' appetizer if you dine in, but you're going to want a whole order. The garlic knots make Rocco's worth visiting.

    Love there pizza, garlic knots are incredibly delicious.
    There salads, meatballs are excellent.
    They have the best grinders.

    Was in town for work and tried this place. Found it to be alright. Service was friendly. The pasta that I ordered was just okay.  Not sure if it was an off night or what.

    How have I worked in Portsmouth and never picked up Roccos for dinner in 15 years?? A co worker told me I had to try Roccos. I had heard of it but seen no advertising etc. all I can say is HOLY MOLY!!!! The garlic knots are amazing and the pizza, although thinner crust isn't my fav, was ridiculously flavorful!!! The cheese and sauce they use is like pizzas in federal hill. We will be back for more! Thanks for an awesome dinner for our Anniversary at home!
